Course Details 
Oxbridge Medica Interviews is a one-day GPVTS / GPST intensive course covering the 3 main components of the Stage 3 of the GP selection process.

Throughout this intensive day, you will:

1.      Gain an insight into what the examiners are looking for

2.      Learn effective Communication skills 

3.      Learn how to deal with the role plays / simulated consultations 

4.      Learn an approach to group discussions (and how to be noticed!) 

5.      Learn techniques for tackling the Stage 3 written prioritisation questions 

6.      Improve your confidence and enhance your communication skills

The following areas will be covered:

·         Introduction to Stage 3 Application

·         Simulated Patient Encounters - communication and consultation skills, role play practice with simulated patients, explaining diagnoses, explaining 
investigations, breaking bad news, simulated consultation 

·         Group tasks - Presentation tasks, SEA, practice role plays, practice in groups of five 

·         Written prioritisation exercises 

·         The success of our courses is in keeping the trainer: participant ratio 1:6.
