Laparoscopic Cholorectal Left Side Resection

This two day course is aimed at ST3/4 and or more senior grades wishing to develop laparoscopic skills It concentrates on laparoscopic appendicectomy and right hemicolectomy.  

The course is a combination of lectures and practical workshops using specially developed models and a range of equipment provided by the major companies.  Faculty:delegate ratios are high and there is continual personal feedback and guidance in an informal atmosphere. 

 For Welsh trainees this is followed by visits to faculty hospitals, assisting on appropriate lists.
